Testimonials

I purchased my pup from Sydney and Bill in the summer of 2004. I never expected such a wonderful dog! Nikita is amazingly beautiful and smart, and she is the best pup I have ever owned! I could not ask for a better companion in my life. It always brightens my day to know that I have such a sweet and playful dog to come home to. When I first talked to Syd I was amazed at how informative she was. I told her exactly what I was looking for in a dog and she was able to provide that for me. I feel as though I have made life-long friends with Syd and Bill, and I know that I will never go anywhere else for a dog! Syd and Bill: you all will always have my support and thanks!

In the Summer of 2002 I purchased a blue female puppy from Smokey Mountain Pitts. I am an animal lover and wanted too meet the breeders in person and see what type of treatment their animals received before doing business with them.

When I arrived at their property I was impressed to say the least. Each of their animals were exceptionally clean and well behaved. I must admit that I was a bit hesitant to get down on all fours to look at pups with the mother in such close proximity but to my surprise, mom was as friendly as the pups.

Needless to say, I am very satisfied with the temperament of my dog. She is now full grown with a litter of her own (which by the way is a result of using Smokey Mountain as a source for her stud) and continues to be one of the most loving and gentle dogs of any kind that I have ever seen.

Knowing what I know now, I would have paid double the asking price! She has been a wonderful and loyal companion. I plan on buying other dogs in the future, and as far as I am concerned, no one else could ever get my business. I am very impressed not only with the quality of the animal that I bought, but with the wonderful people that I bought her from. You cant beat them, or their dogs.

Titus was purchased in June 2002 and was sired by Tons of Tank. Even though Tank looks like a strong forceful dog, his pup has grown to be a loving and friendly companion. Titus now weights 80lbs. and enjoys going to the water to swim, talking long walks and playing with his roommates (two cats, and two other dogs).

My family couldn't be happier with a pet, as Titus is a very affectionate and playful dog with a good and gentle disposition.

Thanks again for breeding such a good dog.

We thank you for the beautiful puppies we got from you. You guy's have a excellent setup in raising the pittbull puppy.

The first male we got from you guy's is a 90 pound gentle baby at 10 months, we call him "Chubbs Diego" and he is still growing. He was the red/red nose we got . The new puppy we got from you was a black/white puppy he weighs 12 lbs at 9 nine weeks old and we call him "Gizmo". He is a little bundle of joy.

We will be back.

We thank you guys for everything.

My husband and I were married in June of 2004, by October we wanted to add something more, but we weren't quite ready for a child yet, so we looked into getting a puppy. If were to get one though, my husband wanted a tough looking pup/dog. He had a friend who had 2 pitt bulls and decided that was what we were going to get. We did some research on line about pitt bulls, with me being a little leary of them at first, but I found a lot of positive information on them and also believed that it is all in how you raise them. I was leaning towards a blue pitt bull, I love their coat color and haven't seen very many of them. My searching led me to Smoky Mtn. Pitts. I emailed my interest and Syd was quick on her response and very informative and she had the exact pup that I was looking for.

We live about 6 hours away from Syd in Christiansburg, VA, we weren’t really looking to drive so far, but it was well worth it. I had wanted to see how all the dogs were taken care and to meet Tio’s mother (Choccacon) and father (Koal). We picked up our 3 month old male blue pitt bull Tio on October 16, 2004. Once there, we found a loving and caring breeder with happy, healthy, friendly, beautiful pittbulls. Syd and her family were very nice, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit with them. I am always staying in touch with Syd and overloading her with pictures of Tio. My husband and I want to try to visit them whenever we can to catch up and let her see how Tio has grown.

Our pittbull Tio is now 9 months old and he is spoiled rotten, but yet he is so smart and has such a personality. Everywhere we go people are always talking about how handsome he is and how he has a great personality and he is so loving and energetic. I get proud everytime someone compliments him. Tio is an inside dog and it has made him such a big part of the family. I always tell people that I never thought it possible to love a dog so much. I am very happy with Tio and I'm grateful to Syd for him. Syd has always been there for any questions or concerns that I have ever had and I have learned a lot from her and have found a friend in her as well. It's all meant a lot to me, my husband and Tio.

Thank you Syd for everything!

Syd,

I wanted to write and tell both you and Bill how blessed we have been with both Nala and Taz. They have been the best dogs. They are both house dogs and spoiled rotten. Taz is a little hyper but he's so loving. Nala is just a sweety all the time. I use to tell people that I'd never have pitts around kids but now I have just the opposite to say. These have been the best dogs we've ever had! I've had rotts, and labs and never have I trusted a dog like I do Nala and Taz. They are very well tempered and disciplined. Oh I really can't tell you how grateful me and the boys are that they're part of our family. I wanted to send you some pictures of Nala & Taz and of their pups. As you know they were born on the 15th. Again, thank you for taking my call early that morning and listening to me go on and on about what was happening and for answering my questions. Watching Nala have the pups was a real experience. As you'll see by the pictures they all lived and are doing Great! They are now an added part to our family and I have no idea how I'm going to part with them when it comes time but I also know I can't keep them all. We plan to keep the blue boy and name him Oz.

Again thank you and we are go grateful for Smoky Mountain!!!!!

Thanks to Smoky Mountain Pitts for giving me the best bullie i ever had. He is a strong and muscular pitbull like his father Jimmy-D and he is beautiful like his mother Lacie. You guys produced one of the most amazing pitbulls I ever seen in my life. Sure I looked at other kennels but out of all of them you guys have the best bullies and you guys tried to help us find whats right for us, unlike some kennels who are just there for the money. You guys are there for the people and the breed and I appreciate that. Once again thanks to a great kennel like Smoky Mountain Pitts.
